As a personal empowerment coach and founder of The Embodied Life, I work with women who are tired of yo-yo dieting and having their self-worth tied to the number on the scale. They crave freedom—in their bodies and lives—and want to experience that freedom now (rather than 15 pounds from now).
I help my clients fall back in love with their bodies and create lives that burst with meaning, pleasure and joy.
My big “ah-ha” moment (and the reason I do this work) came a few years back.
After what seemed like a lifetime of fad diets and obsessive calorie counting, I finally reached the “holy grail” (fitting into my high school jeans). But rather than feeling elated and complete, I’d never been more unhappy and alone.
I realized then and there that losing weight had never been the answer to my problems, and set out on a path of self-discovery.
I began working with a coach, gradually shifted the way I view my life, and finally made peace with my body after years of self-hatred. The inner work I was doing was so powerful and transformative that I felt compelled to share it.
I enrolled in a life coach-training program and started The Embodied Life to help other women who were struggling with food and their bodies finally find that unshakeable sense of worthiness that radiates from the inside out.
And the rest, as they say, is history!
I now spend my days empowering kick-ass women to dream big, stand up tall, and really go after what they want (pretty cool, right!?). When I’m not coaching, you can find me attempting to “catch waves” on a surfboard or falling down from my latest go at a headstand in yoga class (all tips appreciated!). I also have an unhealthy obsession with mangos and learning Spanish.
Ultimately, I believe that we all have the ability to overcome our deepest fears and beliefs and achieve greatness – but sometimes we just need a little nudge.
If anything you’ve read here resonates, I want you to consider this YOUR nudge. I invite you to schedule a free discovery call with me to uncover what’s possible when we put our heads together.
To loving your body and life!
